OPTIMIZE

OPTIMIZE their potential to be leaders and providers for future generations.

Our team and children serving at a medical clinic in the mountains

Our most recent trip involved a service project.  The kids at the orphanage made tote bags out of t-shirts (thank you Ironman for the volunteer shirts).

They filled the bags with snacks, toys, clothes, tracts and a hygiene kit. The next day we all piled in a van and drove up to a mountain clinic that is staffed by ALOM doctors and nurses.  While there our children handed out the bags, played frisbee and soccer with the children up there, and sang and danced for the people who waited to be seen by the doctor. It was amazing to watch their joy in having something that they could share and give away.  They talked about the experience for days and were asked if they could do it again.  We hope that this is the spirit of giving and sharing that they will carry with them as they grow and learn to be leaders in their communities.
